Drawstring bags

Drawstring bags are very useful when organizing your luggage. They are light, thin and flexible and thus don’t add weight or bulk. They are easy to open and when closed their drawstring form loops that can be used for carrying or hanging them up somewhere.

I have a entire collection of them that I use every time I go on vacation and I thought you might love them too. You can order them as bundles and get a discount.

Shape

My drawstring bags are blocky to create plenty of storage space and a large opening. They are unlined, made out of a single piece of fabric to minimize their bulk and weight and all their raw edges are hidden to keep them nice through many washes.

Two strings run through a tunnel at the top of the bag and their ends are decorated with wooden beads to grip and accent.

Available Sizes

To cover most applications, I offer the drawstring bags in six sizes (XXS-XL).

These sizes gets progressively larger in each dimension.The smallest size (XXS) can fit a tennis ball and the largest bag (XL) is great for e.g. gym clothes.

Add-on: handles

The drawstring bag usually do not need any handles as the strings themselves can functions as handles when the bag is closed. However, sometimes it is helpful to add small loops to either side that can be pulled to open the bag. The pouch/drawstring handle I offer is 1.5 cm wide and is attached to the side of the bag. It comes in three lengths:

Short (4 cm): + € 3.60
Medium (20 cm): + € 4.80
Long (36 cm): + € 6.60

Add-on: pockets

Drawstring bags are designed to be very simple pouches to help keeping things tidy. They are also unlined and thus the stitches of any pocket would be visible on the other side as well. Therefore, I only offer simple patch pockets for the larger drawstring bags (sizes M-XL):

But, if you like the shape of this bag series, I can add a lining (and structure) and add as many pockets as you like.

Add-on: lanyards

To make sure it is easy to find your keys and never forget them, you can also add lanyards to the lining of your bag.

Closures

The drawstring closure is an integral part of this bag series. If you want a different type of closure, you can check out my other bag series. However, if you like the bag but don’t need the drawstring, I can add e.g. a snap button instead.
