Pouches
Can one ever have enough pouches? Jewelry, medicine, coins, pens, cables, toiletries, makeup; so many of our (daily) items are small and storing them in designated pouches makes gathering them quick and easy. And those little specs of colorful fabrics can bring splashes of joy to your day.
Pouches can have so many different purposes that I have created a whole assembly of them to cover most uses. You can choose between different sizes, height, depth and closure type. And of course, add handles, pockets and lanyards.
The pouches are also available in bundles.

Shape
I created two series of pouches, the standard series and the oblong series. Both have the same width but the standard series is taller. Their dimension ratios are approximately 3:2:1 and 6:3:2 (W:H:D), respectively.
In addition there are a few variants:
- Flat: pouch with no added depth, instead its bottom corners are rounded for a softer shape
- Deep: pouch that increases in depth downwards and its flat bottom enables it to stand upright when filled
- Closure: you can choose between 2-3 closure types
Available Sizes
To cover most applications, I offer the two pouch series in six sizes (XXS-XL).
These sizes get progressively larger in each dimension. The flat and deep variants have the same width and height but the flat version has no added depth and is thus always around 1 cm.

The price list stated here includes everything needed to make the base bag, including:

The pouches come with two other closure types with minor surcharges:
- Flap with plastic snap button: + € 2.00 to € 3.00

Add-on: handles
Sometimes, it is very useful to add loops to the pouch to make grabbing and carrying it easier. The pouch handle I offer is 1.5 cm wide and is attached to the side of the pouch. It comes in three lengths:
- Short (4 cm): + € 3.60
- Medium (20 cm): + € 4.80
- Long (36 cm): + € 6.60
If you want, I can also unfold them and attach them like a handle to the pouch or add another handle from the toolbox.
Add-on: pockets
Pouches are small and usually don’t require pockets, in a way they are already pockets themselves. However, it can be very helpful to subdivide your pouch into compartments using pockets. Just as a note, flat and deep pouches are constructed in a different way and thus some pockets are attached (Patch and Elastic pockets) in alternating ways.
Types of pockets:
- Zipper (secure & hidden), + € 17.20 to € 20.80
- Patch (flat & stiff): + € 11.60 to € 21.20
- Elastic (deep & flexible): + € 15.60 to € 22.40
The pockets can be attached outside and inside, front and back. They can be made as a single compartment or divided into several using seams.
Add-on: lanyards
To make sure it is easy to find your keys and never forget them, you can also add lanyards to the lining of your bag.
Types of lanyards:
- Band with keyring, 2 cm long (+ € 5.00)
- Band with keyring, 14 cm long (+ € 6.40)
- Band with hook, 8 cm long (+ € 6.00)
Closures
In general, shoppers are open and do not have any type of closure. However, to obtain a little more security, you can add a magnetic closure or snap button to keep the top of the front and back of the bag together.

Fabrics
Composition
Pouches are very small bags made of cotton fabrics. Don’t be afraid to select a funny, cute or colorful patterns. They can brighten your day like wearing colorful socks underneath serious business wear.
Feature fabric
To cover a wide range of preferences in colors and patterns, I opted for collecting a large amount of types fabrics but only a small amount of each. Therefore, I recommend to choose your preferred base color and pattern category. I will then send you a few suggestions.
Fabric sets
I like to make pouches out of light weight cotton fabrics (poplin) with a feature fabric outside and a matching plain color as contrast, lining and add-ons. This gives the bags a clean look and emphasizes the main pattern fabric.
